Victor Ritchie was born on 10 Aug 1870, the seventh of ten children born to David Ritchie (1829-1920) and Mary Amelia Anstice of ‘Scone Mills’, Perth. He was christened at the Holy Trinity Church on 27 Oct 1870 and attended the Launceston Church Grammar School. He was engaged in the family’s milling business as a clerk. Victor died at Nazareth House, St Leonards, on 10 Jan 1957. His remains were cremated at the Carr Villa Cemetery and were scattered.
