This is possibly Norman Russell Westbrook, known as Russell, who was born on 25 Jun 1868. He was the son of Joshua Henry Westbrook (1823-1896), banker, and Elizabeth Ann Norman. Others in the family were Joshua James, Lily Louise, Mary, Dora and Claude. Mary and Dora also appear in the album.

At the time of the Tasmanian Exhibition in 1891-92, Russell was living in Cameron Street. He was a clerk and in later life he lived with his brother Joshua and his family at 7 Welman Street, Launceston. He died on 29 May 1931, age 62, and is buried at Carr Villa.
