This is possibly Mrs Mary Williams who was born in Launceston on 15 Dec 1854 to John McKenzie and Janet Stewart. She married Frederick Thomas Williams, a clerk, on 11 Aug 1881 at Winkleigh, Tasmania. They had four children, all born at ‘Fern Cottage’, Lawrence Street, Launceston: Ella May, 15 May 1882; John Kenneth, 13 Jul 1884; Frederick Montague, 4 Dec 1886 and Jessie Stewart, 19 Apr 1889. In 1903 the Williams family was living at 139 Cimitiere Street, Launceston. Mary died in Launceston on 7 Aug 1943 aged 89 and was buried at Carr Villa. Her husband Frederick is also pictured in the Family Album.
