Margaret Stewart was born on 2 Jun 1871, the fifth daughter of Robert Frederick Augustus Stewart (1831-1896) and his wife Sarah Smith (1836-1925). She died of heart disease on 25 Jan 1896 at her parents’ home at the age of 24, some six months before her father passed away from the same complaint. Her sister Mabel is also in the Family Album.
