Helena Florence (Lena) Boag was born in Launceston on 1 Sep 1894, the third child of James Boag II (1854-1919) and his wife Elizabeth Edwards. She attended Broadland House. Her name was embroided on a decorative tablecloth which was presented to the headmistress Miss Jane Hogg in 1904. Helena married William Forrest Marshall on 19 Dec 1911 at Chalmers Church, Launceston. Their daughter Margaret was born at Devonport on 27 Feb 1917. They later moved to Sydney where Lena died in 1956. See The Examiner 14 Jan 2006, p. 27.
