Grace Marion Stephens was one of nine children of Joseph Stephens and Louise Caroline Markham who were married in Launceston on 11 Nov 1859. Grace was born on 16 Dec 1872. At the time of the Exhibition Joseph’s family was living in Cimitiere Street, Launceston. Her sister Annie Maud Stephens also appears in the Album.

Miss G Stephens was a soprano in the Tasmanian Exhibition Choir in 1891-92.
