Florence Weymouth, born on 20 Apr 1858, was the eleventh and youngest child of William A Weymouth (1818-1863) and Catherine Hubbard (1819-1882) of Launceston. She was a sister of the late George Weymouth whose family she accompanied to the Exhibition of 1891-92. She was an alto in the Exhibition Choir. In 1894 Florence married George Neate (1848-1938) and moved to Melbourne to live where her three daughters were born: Florence, 1895-1895; Dorothy, 1896-1970 and Marjory, 1900. Florence died in Prahran, Victoria, in 1943. See The Examiner 18 & 25 Feb 2006.
