This is possibly Betsy Allen who was born on 12 Mar 1854 in Hobart to William Allen and Elizabeth Mundy. Her brother James, born on 25 Jan 1851, died as a baby. He might have had a twin sister. Miss B Allen was a soprano in the Tasmanian Exhibition Choir in 1891-92.
