Mrs Amy Horne, born at Launceston on 11 Aug 1867, was the second daughter of Joseph Ebenezer Clarke (1829-1904) and Eliza Clarke (1836-1909). Amy Clarke married Arthur Reynolds Horne on 8 Aug 1888 at the Baptist Tabernacle, Launceston. Their four children were born in Launceston: Edith, 1889-1949; Sidney, 1892; George, 1893-1952 and Reginald, 1907-1955. At the time of the Exhibition they were living in Clarence St, Launceston. Amy died aged 61 on 2 Sep 1928 at ‘Farnham’, 80 Elphin Road. Arthur had built this new home in 1920, but died four years later on 7 Sep 1924. Amy was buried next to Arthur at the Carr Villa Cemetery in Section E 273. Amy’s parents and husband Arthur are pictured in this Album.
