Alice Corrie Campbell, known as Lily, was born on 20 Apr 1874 in Hobart, the seventh of nine children born to John William Campbell (c.1840-1913), a public servant, and Henrietta Chamberlain (1840-1928). Lily attended the Tasmanian International Exhibition with her mother and three siblings, Henrietta, Eveline and Dudley. She died aged 30 on 15 Sep 1904 at ‘Clydeville’, 13 Welman Street, Launceston. She was the the eldest surviving daughter at the time of her death.
